Mini Roses

I hope your little roses get better. It is always so sad to lose a favorite plant. I have a red mini rose that I put in my flower garden right outside my back door. It has been there for several years now and is doing great. The only thing is, they do not stay tiny. This one is not as big as a regular rose and the flowers are not as big. I have to prune it back in the fall or it gets very tall. But it blooms profusely as long as I keep the dead flower cut,, I cut them back to about the 3rd leaf.

Hi Evelyn. Make a cutting and put it in about a 12 inch pot. The blooms will stay smaller.

Your roses don't have to be big it just all depends on what you like, however I really like my roses to be big with lots of space and out there. I have a few mini roses myself and their beautiful. They don't require much space either cause I just have a small space in the front of my house, and it works very well for them.
