Depending upon location, morning glory are impossible to eradicate. Few plants grow faster. I put 4 inch square trellis up 20 years ago along the deck and am always digging up morning glory. They are pretty though.

We should have an "Impossible to eradicate" thread :) I would vote for verbena bonariensis. Always seedlings everywhere.

I've been trying to get rid of them for years. Its amazing that I have cut the vines off my deck railing and the cut pieces continue to bloom and stay green for days laying on a hot wood deck.
I did order the Ipomoea Nil Blue Pivoted and they are finally flowering.

Pink Tree Morning-glory (Ipomoea carnea) is a fine choice for warm-climate gardens and could even be grown in containers and brought in for Winter in colder regions. The stems are tall and upright (prune to any height), blooms are opulently large and pink.

Last year my neighbor grew a bunch over her fence .. they were huge, blue and white , some red tinges and white. the flower as large as her hand. got me those seeds this year, they are growing over my deck railing, not flowering yet. also got me some moon flower seeds, those are in a huge pot to the side with a tomato cage for growing on. all look healthy. vining up. should be interesting.

A local Congregational church use to have moon flowers growing in a flower garden for years. Eventually the moon flowers were removed.
