I'd best not tell you about my Rose hip syrup candied apple rings then, DOH View attachment 1327
Zigs, yer a man after my own heart.
I like to make pickles and chutneys, wine and the like, and preserves, as well as the obvious Grow-yer-own.
Traditional treats and scarce savouries.
Stuff the supermarket just wouldn't know how to deal with.

I love honeycomb too. I need to make that trip to your house soon zigs.

:D Found that it needs covering in Chocolate, otherwise is absorbs the moisture from the air and goes sticky.

We don't have those here :(. It's a shame I bet those crunchies taste good too. But we do have toffee apples in the stores. I love buying those. They are so good.

Chocolate covered honeycomb is one of my absolute favourite things. I get cravings for Crunchies, they are DIVINE! :D

@zigs - I took a look at cider presses the other day - they are a lot more expensive than I thought! Sounds like a good investment though.

I wish we had those here :(. I would love to have some. I guess I will just have to be satisfied with apple cider. A friend at work made me some hot homemade apple cider a couple of days ago and it was delicious.
