Claudine, the problem with putting your plant in a sweater is that it can become moldy or mildewed. It's not going to stay pretty for very long unless you take it out of the sweater every time you water it and not put it back until it's completely drained of water. You'd have to have another container between the pot and the sweater.

That's a good point, Chanell. It's pretty, but it doesn't seem very practical. It might work better for those sets that have a pot inside a pot where you can take one out of the other easily. Then you could remove the middle portion to water the plant and set it back down inside when it's done.

I saw on Pinterest that if you hang on to your broken terra cotta pots and plant some succulents in them, you can make little fairy houses. Pretty cute.

@ACSAPA, Maddie is going to love that!

@Jessi, that's it exactly! It might even be a good idea to have some kind of material like pebbles or something else to manage the drainage in the bottom of the middle container.

The planter with beans and noodles is cute, Claudine but I think I just found my favorite planter decoration ever. Check this out. You decorate the planter with photos of loved ones and the plants become their hair. I love. :)

ACSAPA, these flowerpots look really funny:D

If I had to choose my favorite flower pot decoration ever, this probably would be my choice:

Hi Claudine. Here's a more practical version of the plant sweater look.
This one is completely made of clay, but it just looks knitted.
They just gave the clay the texture of a sweater, so you can actually get it wet.

I'm not so sure about the dinosaurs but I really like Hello Kitty too:D
As for knitted flowerpot - I like it better when it's made of real yarn because it looks so soft, but I agree - it's not very practical.

Very aesthetic in its appeal and easy to make.. However.. I am not so sure about doing this in white.. I would go with metallic colors .. bronze or copper.. But that is my taste.

Maddie, I love these decoupage plant containers, they look so delicate and very romantic. They would look perfect in my room:D

I like this, it looks very natural but I'm pretty sure it's not easy to drill out a round hole in a trunk and I've never seen anything like this at the store:

It certainly is very natural and pretty .. with the right tools I am sure that it is easy to drill the hole. Take your boyfriends help if you can lay your hands on a nice slice of tree trunk. Men love doing these jobs. :)

You are right, I should ask him for help. He is so much stronger than me and I hope it will be fun for him:D . But it has to wait because right now I plan to ask him to help me with painting walls in my new room:p

These flowerpots look so pretty, I love their colors:

I love those colors.. they look so elegant in the light that streams through the window. The painting and the designs on them to look subtle and pretty.
Here is a set of unusual containers.. lol
