There's cat scarers that only cats can hear. It's a ultra sonic device, might need more than one if you've got a large garden. A infra red device will stop any animal.

We have trouble with a few of the neighbours cats but can't do much about them because they're not classed like a dog. So i would have to get a cat scarer if I wanted to.

Going back a very long time, i read that lion droppings used to work and used to be able to buy it in a gardening magazine, it could have been gardeners world.
