How long does it last?

I can the tomatoes. All the other veggies get frozen, except what we eat of course. I don't care much for canned veggies which is why I freeze them. I made the mistake with corn one year and it tasted like the stuff at the grocery store so I fed it to the chickens. I have a freezer dedicated to garden veggies. I also freeze my tomatoes before I can them. It makes it much easier to peel them and to can them when I'm ready instead of when they need to be done.

Mostly we eat the produce as fast as it comes in. If there is more than a weeks worth of produce it will be put into the freezer.

Our family usually eats the foods as they come in, but sometimes there's things like peppers and strawberries that we freeze or can for use with other meals.
