Hot pepper plant - deformed leaves

My pepper plant is doing the same thing! (weird curling leaves). I haven't been able to figure out why, this was a helpful thread.

Are your plants old like the OP's? Pepper plants are not perrineals. Peppers can have deformed leaves for quite a few different reasons. I had the almost the same thing on a lot of my peppers last year and it was because I fertilized them way too much. Insects can also cause deformed leaves but usually not every leaf on the plant. Weather changes can do this to. Send some pictures, it would be a big help

I don't have any pics atm I'm afraid, but I'm not sure how old the plant is. I would estimate about 2 years. It was a gift from my father, and I think he mentioned it still had its first harvest on it when we adopted it.

I frequently find little brown eggs on it, which I would wager might also be causing the droopy problem, but after rinsing it down good I haven't seen those eggs for a few weeks now, but it's still looking a little wilty.

When you say your watering is "consistent", what, precisely, do you mean?
