OK I see.. Thank you for the information. I grew the tree from a seed.
Avocados grown from seed rarely, if ever, produce a fruit even similar to the parent. Most times they will not produce anything. And not only that but it will take 7-10 years to find out. By that time the tree will be in a least a 10 gallon container. I wonder what a gallon of moist soil weighs?

LOL... Ok.. well i want to maintain the tree at a good height and have it nice and bushy at the moment it doesn't look full enough. I will get a bigger pot soon as well. Do you think I should cut the leaves which are going some yellow and brown specs?

No, not yet. Wait and see what repotting does to the leaves. If within a month they aren't better then remove them.

I haven't changed my pot yet so i only just purchased it yesterday so will do the change over soon. But i have noticed there are some dry patches on some of the leaves. What is it?

Shall start clipping some of the discolored leaves?

That is caused by either over watering or underwatering. Probably over watering.
