Garlic harvest

I harvested our garlic yesterday and hung it in the barn to dry. There is about 6' of double hung garlic (I tie two or three together, then do the same with other end of the string and hang it over the rope). Between the hens and our garlic, we have a fragrant barn!

Wow! Your garlic looks really amazing! If it goes to me, I have never planted a garlic, but for sure I will try. I love its taste, so this is plant for me:) Can I plant it indoor?

Julliet, garlic is not an indoor plant. It takes about nine months from planting a clove to harvesting a head of garlic, and you would not believe the roots on a fresh head of garlic! It is very easy to grow, and very rewarding to have your own homegrown garlic, but indoors? No.
