This flower really is beautiful!:) How big it is? It looks big in the picture. Its petals remind me of silk.

Growing up, I used to enjoy watching these sorts of gardening programs. I grew up in a country where it's mostly farming, so they have all these programs regarding them, and since there wasn't really any other alternative channels back then, I had to watch it. I lived in the city, so I couldn't really relate to what they were saying, life on the farm and all that, but I really could appreciate their efforts after watching those 30 minute shows daily. It's a great gift, to be able to give life to something. And I really appreciate people who can do those things.

More are missing... :(

Thanks for the links! I always like learning new tips! You can't learn too much about gardening. There is just so much to learn! I love checking out gardening books from my local library and copying all of the tips and tricks. It helps me become a better gardener.

Those are very good programs. I had already seen some episodes from all of them. They can really give you a boost in your gardening knowledge.

I've seen many programs over the years and found out the most accurate are those that are amateur programs compared to the professional ones, I think they're done with more passion and knowledge.

Very impressive!

I had never thought of putting hot peppers and garlic in cooked greens before. The greens did not actually taste spicy, they just had a more complex blend of flavors.

Next time I think I will use more salt and black pepper to flavor the oil, but about the same amount of garlic and red pepper. I try to eat leafy vegetables every day because it is healthy, but I do get tired of salads. Cooking them like this gives me more variety.

One flavor I like is in a lil butter put garlic and red pepper flakes , I love the aroma and taste :)

Thank you for sharing this. And you're right, you don't want to overwhelm everyone with too much information at one time.

Thought I'd bump this thread in order to dispel a garden myth.

Do pine needles make the soil acidic? No, they do not. (y)

Yes these are all good. Zigs there is also a series called "fork to fork" with Monty don. Maybe you could have a look and add that at some time :)
