I love garden parties, we might host some as well in the future :) I first need to fix the garden, isn't so big, but the parties won't end just there :p I plan on offering BBQ parties in the future.

A garden party sounds like so much great fun and something I will surely put on in the future. It's a wonderful way to keep in touch with friends who you went to school with a long time ago and make new friends as well. This is also a nice way to get together with family during the holidays or any other special event.

Also great to socialize with the neighbors, specially if you just moved in there =D I plan to do that, I want to socialize and get to know everyone well, what better way than offering a party! Right?

It is a very sociable thing and great if you have good weather!! Garden parties are amazing with floating candles if you have a pool, lanterns hanging from tree to tree and there are so many options just by using your imagination you can create a fantastic party

Each and every year our family host a house party...whether it's for Christmas or New Years but we've never really hosted a real garden party so i am here thinking might be i could voice my opinions as this thought really appeals to me...i really think this could be lots of fun..we could even use tree trunk for seating and we could adorn the edges with christmas lights...there is just so much ideas floating around in my head right now. Got to let this idea materialized!
Have had garden parties in June the last two years. People really seem to like having food and gettogethers in the garden. Go for it!

A garden party sounds so fun, and I wouldn't mind attending and I am not a party goer in any mean :) My neighborhood isn't fit for this kind of gathering as most of them are not untrustworthy. We even avoid eye contact just so you know how bad it is around my world!

The good news is that you don't have to have a fabulous garden to have the party, a small space will do and fake grass, trees, plants and lighting can be added anywhere and it will look good and just like a real garden party!

Kammy, garden parties are the best! Are we invited?

I liked cookieangel's response from another thread https://www.gardening-forums.com/threads/garden-music-garden-party.812/
though I do not hold garden parties, I and my friends use my garden in our yoga sessions and meditations, and sometimes, a spa and massage venue. Among those, the one we love most would be the spa and massage. The scenic garden add character to our activity. And one time, I had an idea of putting speakers there and a soothing kind of music played whilst we were having the spa and massage session. It was so calming and relaxing! The venue of different shades of green, the wind touching our skin, and the calming sound coming from my mp3... that was the perfect spa and massage session we had ever!
