The author gave me the impression that humic acids could be referred to as the "T" cells of soil since they are so flexible in what they can do.

Too late to edit the last post but to go back on track I offer this from 1989. The UN was predicting disaster in 2000, 30 years ago. The link to the article is here. I note the discussion of a carbon tax, a new form of taxation that was to be good for us. I know how they publicize and sell a story line now, but back then the internet was new.
