Oklahoma, not so much. I'm guessing that the natural pH is a tad higher than yours due to LACK of rainfall. Then there's the soil test that shows a current high pH.

Use the Miracle-Gro. It’s not poison it’s fertilizer. Add the organics, they’re good. Plants don’t “care“ about the source of the nutrients and there is no Sodium (that’s the only “salt” you need to worry about. In chemistry a salt is an assemblage of anions and cations not necessarily containing Sodium. Organic versus synthetic is a philosophical position of humans not plants. Both work and can be used in combination for good results.
As for the pH, 7.6 is great for most plants including Azaleas and Camellias.
