I am almost convinced that I am going to get a new orchid plant and see if I can grow it. They are cheap enough right now that if I end up losing it, it will not be that big of a deal. All of the pictures are so beautiful.

Jewell, TheCrazyPlantLady, those pictures are beautiful! Like many of you know, I have an orchid too, it's my first one. I hope it will be easy to grow:)
OK Claudine, I'll admit I am just a "tiny" bit plant abscessed . I am sure your orchid will give you lots of pleasure and thrive.

Your love of miniature roses was all the encouragement I needed to pick up after valentines sale mini roses. I put them in outdoor garden pots and keep them outside now. I never realized the plants wanted to get as big as they have gotten. The flowers stayed small. Here are photos of those little $2 roses after they grew some last summer. I just have to figure out how to keep the black spot under control.

The little roses on this one got a little more open and two toned than it was originally

Hope they winter over OK. Next vacation time I will be checking them out, cleaning the pots, etc.
