Does anybody use a weed trimmer?

I love my weed eater and have the scars to prove it. Shin guards are a great idea as well as taking a quick walk through to remove debris. I have gotten the angle down pretty well and haven't hit myself (or a rotting rat) at all.

Great advice on using safety glasses when trimming the weeds or edging the lawn. I have tried using a weed wacker a few times in the garden. I found it hard to handle so I went back to pulling the weeds by hand.
