You would love it around here, bonfire societies arrange guy competitions, and not just for Nov 5th so you often see them lounging around. In Battle they have a knitting group as well that does things like putting covers and hats on the posts by the road.

Someone around here knits hats for letter boxes. No idea who does it, but always something new for the latest current affairs.
