It should be fine for personal use. Most of these gardens have many images on google, instagram, tumblr, ect that people share and post all over the internet.

I really like the botanical gardens in Bellevue WA during the Christmas season. They have a nightie tour where you can walk through with a hot beverage in hand. There are thousand of lights that are sculpted together to look like fruits, veggies , and flowers

Woh, this thread has a lot of nice photos, those gardens look really beautiful.
In my city there are some public gardens too, my favourite one is called "gardens of Viveros", here I post some photos.

Like Ian we are lucky to have National Trust properties near us which have beautiful gardens.
These I took yesterday at Bodnant gardens in North Wales, about a 90 minute drive away from us.

I have a full set of images for every month of the year for this world famous garden.

The LA History Museum has a nice sized rose garden with rose bushes so huge. They have so many different kinds f roses there that it's really fun to look at. I also like that it's open to the public, so even if you can't afford to go to the museum, you can see the roses. One year, they had the butterfly house right next to it so you could enter the butterfly house and then exit to see all the pretty roses. It's a really fun bright spot in the otherwise modern city.
