Do you eat dandelion greens?

I don't actually know dandelions but my husband said there is a counterpart here that we consider as weeds. It is called saikan. It has edible green leaves that has a bitter taste but it is good when mixed in a fish dish. However, that saikan weed is now difficult to find since they are wild like the ferns which we also eat. But there are ferns sold in the market unlike saikan which is a rare weed.
