Crown of Thorns (Euphorbia Milii) Damage, advice?

Hello!
I have a crown of thorns plant which was unfortunately chewed throughout the night. I was wondering if there was any advice as to what I should do to the stem? Or if I should just not touch it? I’m new to this forum as well, so please let me know if I should be posting elsewhere! I have attached a photo of the damage.

There's nothing you can do at this point. I would move it to another location because the varment may return to night.

And try to keep the injured areas dry but do not cover. It will scab over easier.
