Crepe Myrtle Question!

It had no leaves, no growth late after other similar CMs haD budded even half dead ones around town. I read to cut back until green is found and there was nothing, just dry and snapping all the way down.
If under the bark the epidermis wasn't a greenish color it was really dead.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to, the epidermis was dead. I was only kidding about it being perfect, it was never intended to be a specimen so as long as it's healthy I'm satisfied but I do hope it flowers.

You will just have to wait and see. It could be anything from a bush to a 40 foot tall tree and it may or may not have pretty flowers
