I put various fruit and vegetable scraps, peelings, and leftovers in a large pot (keep it in the fridge until it adds up). I then pour boiling water in to the pot, cover it, then steep it overnight (can be up to 2 days). I then strain it and use it to water the plants. I do this from time to time.
Be sure to only put your organic produce in the pot or you will poison your plants.
