I am practically counting the days this year, anyone else? I am starting to plan ahead though, so it's nice to have the time to dream while the snow is still on the ground. I've got to stick to a budget, so advance planning is a must to get the most bang for my buck!

What are you doing right now to prep for spring? How detailed are your plans - do you have just a vague idea of what you want, or do you pull out the graph paper? I'll admit that I'm easily swayed while at the garden center, so I need to go in with a plan!

Right now not planning anything for spring, not when it comes to gardening, because I can no longer garden here. But ask me next year =D I have big plans for next year! I think I'll plans a couple edibles, mostly chillies and tomatoes. I just hope I have no problem finding non GMO seeds of my fav chillies to plant. We will get a small greenhouse too, so yaaay!

So I'm not the only one! Sounds like a lot of us are in this together...

Thanks for sharing the photos @marlingardener, that's so nice to see! It's only a matter of time, though we were digging out from under several inches this week (I use "we" loosely, as my dear husband was the one doing the digging). We learned the hard way what a bad idea it was to have the car parked on the street that day.

@kevinkimers, I love the whiteboard idea!

Just passing time by with reading and stuff to take my mind off of things but I feel that spring will be mid March this year in this area because of the late snows and cold rolling through. My poor aloe vera's ready for some sun and warmth as well.

I'm dealing with 3 feet on snow. It finally stopped snowing last night. I'm going to be one tired monkey by the time I get this all shoveled out.

I got tired of shoveling snow. I just use put a high powered fan and electric heater outside directed at the yard. Works for the most part. Having run offs helps with the excess water especially since the land is slightly hilled.

no, they are not supposed to do this. I spoke with the mayor and he did agree that this was not reasonable. I told him to warn the boys to watch out for the pita in pj's.

Oh my wrists and shoulders are screaming from all of this shoveling and in my case, it took like eight people to dig me out! I am sure we will have more snow, but one day at a time; one day at a time!
