"All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain...".
I saw the film at the cinema on its release.

I've both versions of this and the Vangelis cassette.
Plus a recording of the documentary on its making.

I've the DVD of Blade Runner 2049.

I've also a hardback copy of the book, "Edge of Human," (sort of Blade Runner 2) I bought in a "remainder" sale in WH Smith's, over 20 years ago. Still available

The VHS tape and DVD have been in and out of favour with the public for almost three decades, sometimes reduced to clear. then a few years later back at full price.
I've always fancied one of these jukeboxes, but they obviously haven't been made yet.

My second favourite film noir.
This has a lot of good elements.

Jeanne Moreau
A gull wing Mercedes 300SL W198
A score by Miles Davis,
He recorded the music with a quartet of French and US musicians in a few hours (from 11pm to 5am one night), improvising each number and allegedly sipping champagne with Jeane Moreau and Louis Malle.

Here she's wandering the streets of Paris looking for her lover who has failed to meet up with her, wondering what has happened to him.

In an episode of the French detective series Spiral, which I watched last year, there's a scene in an episode where the detective Laure is wandering the streets of Paris looking for her lover, fellow detective Gilou, who has failed to meet up with her, wondering what has happened to him, to similar "moody music,"
I think this was a bit of "director's licence" that many younger people would not have recognised.

Another "Talking Pictures" classic I recorded last night.

Gloria Grahame, Fredric March, Terry Moore, Richard Boone

Both this and Leave Her to Heaven are available in full on YouTube

Take that Streetcar named Desire along the Highway of Broken Dreams. Just past the Heartbreak Hotel, make a sharp left.
