Just turned on the sound for my video above. don't understand the noise in the beginning, prior to the walking noise of me. my street, and area is dead quiet.

We usually have these round the front door, I need a lot of plastic suckers to get this sort of symmetry with just one strand of lights. Other houses in our road have the same front door arch and do something similar, but not as uniform.

But this year we haven't bothered and I'm aware there are fewer other houses that have either.
There are a few houses that have as usual masses of lights, some of which keep flashing long past midnight. This must be annoying for the occupants of the houses opposite, who like to sleep with their bedroom curtains open.
