We have a bunch of chives that grow at the base of our eve spout. They must love water, because they have done wonderfully there! I try to remember to trim the flowers off, but this summer was so hot I didn't get as much gardening in as I would have liked. I have a feeling I'm going to have a VERY large crop of chives next year

Chives will grow anywhere and reseed themselves like crazy so I plant them in a spot where they can grow wild. I love the aroma of them and they work great in so many dishes.
