@Owdboggy, how long have they been at their new home? If it has been more than two days, they would probably be just fine with letting them out now. I've had two cats I moved at least seven times in a ten year period, and they were always fine after two days.
The first two or three times you let them out, I suggest you let them see you putting a small bowl of cat food outside the door for them. I'm not suggesting you start feeding them outside, but it will help show them the place they get fed.
(Even if it is only 10 pieces of kibble on a saucer, it reinforces the "you get food here" idea.)
