Just noted @Eeilee , see your from Oregon. Love that coastline, hope to get back for a 3rd time. My favorite place to stay is Sylvia Beach Hotel in Newport. Then I get up to Astoria and enjoy that area, crossing the Columbia river bridge getting up to Washington state along the ocean. Beautiful area.

I used to live in Newport. We’re in the valley now. I’ve lived up and down the west coast and Oregon is for sure one of the prettiest places! Wonderful for gardening here in the valley too.

When I get there, I fly into Eugene, rent a car and drive west straight to the coastline, then head north and first stop is Newport.
