Just one other question if I may chaps....
what are the best/nicest plants to encourage Bees?

Google will give you a great list of bee friendly plants, but have a think what sort of bees. The bees which want to crawl up inside a foxglove flower are probably not the same as those visiting an open daisy type flower. Also worth thinking about the seasons, my Michaelmas daisies are covered in bees stocking up for the winter in Autumn when there is not much else about.
