What do you think happened to that fat pumpkin to form the ring near the top?

Just finding somewhere to flog it is the problem, cut a load a few years back but the car boot sale had shut down for the winter.

Think the Pumpkin's Mum had had sex with a Turk's Turban Squash.

Very nice pictures, as usual, Zigs. Can't wait for the winter photos I bet they're gonna be great. Haven't seen any sheep in a long time because they were up on the mountains when I visited the country side so that was a nice view you offered

Few shots in the Beech Woods today, very grey and overcast here.

I think I'll take these pictures, frame them and hang them in my newly renovated room The walls are light purple and the ceiling is white but I think I can make it work. Would you mind me stealing from you?

I kind of like the way trees without leaves look. It's romantic and those dark branches remind me of a weird lace
Is it a mushroom in the second picture? Its shape is funny

Especially when they are silhouetted against the sky, almost black.

Yep, some kind of Polypore mushroom, haven't looked it up
