Are these containers too small for tomatoes?

Never mind. I contacted Home Depot and it will hold 5 gallons. I'm not sure if that's water or soil, does it even matter?

Those containers are for sure way less than five gallons...and Home Depot et al sells five gallon buckets for less than half that price.

Oops, sorry just read the added replies. Anyway I've been growing determinate and cherry-type tomatoes for years in five gallon buckets.
