Had these two beautiful King Parrots visiting. They actually do ask to be fed. I put the seed out on the railing only when they come as otherwise the cockatoos come and as much as I like them, they can be quite destructive.

Here is Mr. And Mrs. King Parrot.....note Mr. K.P is stunning!!!!
Along came Mr.K.P no: 2 and chases Mrs KP away. Mr KP No1 became very protective and said " Don't be treatIng my lady like that". There was noisy confrontation. I got up to put more seed out so enough for all but they flew off. You can just make them out in the trees where they often sit.

I hoped they'd return but Pearl heard the kerfuffle and look......

The images of parrots are not opening and yes Pearl also needs to welcome them. Right? (lol)

They are beautiful colours DeborahJane. I've not seen King parrots before.

They King Parrots had a lovely time until Pesky Pearl made an appearance.

I finally got my laptop back guys!!! The one that has all my photos in it and other important stuff. So here are some of the animals that used to visit my garden:

I really need to get another good camera! All I have currently is the rather crappy one on my phone. Nothing as exotic as monkeys or parrots here (although I suppose "exotic" is a relative term) but I have a small variety of bird feeders out front, and currently see...five different types. Pair of cardinals, sparrows, blue jay, flicker, starlings....oh and a nuthatch. Oh,and there's the mourning doves. I have a list of over 30 species that have visited my feeders so far.

Charlie sounds really distressed but I gather it's just the noise he makes......very loudly!
