Have to catch the early tide I’m after bladderrack for next years fertiliser need 10kg anything els is a bonus ! Will also pick wild garlic, berries ,sea asparagus and hopefully some drift wood to finish my bench off 2am here still light drizzle and the faint chapping of foxes in the the back ground best time of the day ! Good night or morning all3.30am! Geee! You're some serious forager! Aren't you scared groping in the dark? Why do you need to get up soooo early please? Are you going to eat the seaweed? Mum used them to make dessert! Samphire can be very expensive - regarded as a delicacy in some restaurant.
I go buy myself I’m about 2miles from the sea I love it I go early doors so I don’t have to pay for parking and the tides dictates when it’s bestWhoa! @Leeski How many of you go usually? How far are you from the sea? Some amazing life-style!
When I asked my ex to get me some sea weeds, he moaned.
We have had NOT a drop of rain! Just did an hour of serious watering. A few slugs and the state of my garden is just shocking. Too hot to clean up. Will do a bit after this.

You could try both, but they like a lot of drainage so water might not be the best. Also put a lot of grit in the compost.View attachment 41305 What’s the best way to
Propagate my lavender in water or straight in to seed compost and perlite ?
Thanks in advance
