3.30am! Geee! You're some serious forager! Aren't you scared groping in the dark? Why do you need to get up soooo early please? Are you going to eat the seaweed? Mum used them to make dessert! Samphire can be very expensive - regarded as a delicacy in some restaurant.
Have to catch the early tide I’m after bladderrack for next years fertiliser need 10kg anything els is a bonus ! Will also pick wild garlic, berries ,sea asparagus and hopefully some drift wood to finish my bench off 2am here still light drizzle and the faint chapping of foxes in the the back ground best time of the day ! Good night or morning all :)

Whoa! @Leeski How many of you go usually? How far are you from the sea? Some amazing life-style!:LOL::ROFLMAO:

When I asked my ex to get me some sea weeds, he moaned.

We have had NOT a drop of rain! Just did an hour of serious watering. A few slugs and the state of my garden is just shocking. Too hot to clean up. Will do a bit after this.

Morning!!

Gosh @Leeski.....that's what I call dedication!!!!!(y) We're not that far from the sea either but........2am!!! No way!

Well the rain came and went during the night, looks damp out there but not sure how much we actually had. I didn't hear anything last night and we had all our windows open...I'm a light sleepet so it couldn't have been the heavy downpour that was promised. But I'm happy for any amount...big or small :)(y)

I go buy myself I’m about 2miles from the sea I love it I go early doors so I don’t have to pay for parking and the tides dictates when it’s best :)

Whoa! I wish I lived near you. Just the sight of it pleases me no end and it's free and organic and most beneficial to plants. What a brilliant idea!

Have you got any samphire? If you have a pic of sea asparagus, I would love to have a look as I have no idea what it is. Happy foraging!

Need to tidy up the house. Visitors due in 4 hours!

What’s the best way to
Propagate my lavender in water or straight in to seed compost and perlite ?
Thanks in advance :)

Your best bet is half compost and half sand or perlite and away from strong light or heat.

Also trim all the flowers and leave only one stalk or at most two.

Have a look here

Had a big meal with relatives very, very late and after that I had been more or less incapacitated. Sky darkened and someone else nearby must have had rain, but for me, only high humidity and oppressive hot air!
