@Perki Do let us know which compost works out better please! Amazing that you still have alliums flowering. Lovely planters though I like to photoshop in some lobelias in every single pot. Just love lobelias. Saw a new colour white with blue fringes. Very pretty. You've been working very hards. So many pots. Yes, they will fill up and it's so nice to see so many colour and the colour scheme of pink .. Nick Bailey was quite right. I should colour co-ordinate my plants. I am still at the stage when I need to see the flower rather than the colour schemes, but seeing your allium, phlox, and pink roses, the colour palette looks so soothing.

Oh, no! Sun is out. It was actually very cold out there. The Aster that I bought reduced was doing very well, but now inside the pot in the soil, it looks dying! I might have to take it out of the pot. It's called Aster Bahamas!

Good Morning to everyone including the cross pollinators
@BigC I personally would love ceanothus! At least, it will have loads of blue flowers and can be very attractive with its shiny foliage.
Dull and overcast here as expected....Drawing Bees into the garden would be a great plus @Logan and the Ceanothus would be a huge plus @alp...but I'm looking at it from a space/positional point of view behind the waterfall and I'm not too convinced as yet...we'll see the Jury is still out...Space in the garden now is at a premium..flowers in leafy bushy borders are more the order of the day.
The weekend should sort out the pond area but again its a limited space and awkward to get in and around but we'll manage it...

You need to get a bigger garden! Talk to the War Department as you're still young. I'm one foot in the grave and am still hankering after my bigger plot. Not likely! But it's nice to have a dream. Yes, you need something compact.

Hahaha no this garden is managable for me any bigger and I may loose interest, and be a lot poorer in my pocket lol
Its good to see that most areas are filled up so I just need to learn what flowers when and plant accordingly as one plant dies back another comes into bloom if that can be achieved..I dont know these things..I learn as I go

As long as I can have 100 foot garden, I will be happy! Your garden is perfect, @BigC ! Just buy plants wisely and you will be fine. We all get fed up with some plants at some point, so there's a relief!

I'm stupefied as to what to water - all of them need a drink at this critical time! Thank heavens that there is a cool breeze. Next week, I am not so sure!

Morning all !:)

Lovely day again..albeit it moistureless (is that even a proper word?)

Yes it is heart breaking to see the plants ,that have been nutured from seed, struggling to survive......so sad  Still no rain on the weather forecast horizon in the foreseeable next couple of weeks:(:(.
They say it's likely to be the hottest June since1976!
Gosh!..how I remember that...working in a hair salon with over 14 big hair dryers adding to the discomfort was no joke:(

Off to pollinate all that I can find now!:D:ROFLMAO:

Have a good day:)

This morning was very cold. I'm going to trim the cherry tree that I have newly bought, just as you do, to reduce the stress. It's going to a long hot week ahead! Even Somerset is crying out for rain. It's a bit of relief to have cool air. Need to plant out all my dahlias before they die in the lean to. Daisy You see one of the bedrooms with a wooden headboard. We got it yesterday from a man who's moving out. Or you will see it when you click again as it might not have been uploaded. The bed instantly looks better. It's a nice wooden double bed headboard. A wipe and it looks nice in photos. Don't look at my garden any more! My face is now all red!

Love yours more! My home-made paths are sinking somewhere. I can actually pour concrete onto it. I know how to make it. But I can be bothered. If I can't move, I will build an insulated shed at the back just to sleep in.
