Thanks @BigC Glad that Alfie is ok and thanks @alp
I knew barley was going to get it, but instead stopping his food and just give him dry toast, I put the toast on top of his food, but it didn't work, he just got worse. So I just gave him the dry toast this morning. I'll wait until he gets better, then slowly add his food. But he had it over a week ago and it got better. Nothing to worry about, it's just one of those things that they have.

Looks like it's going to rain, the garden needs it.

That's great to hear.
Barley and Berry are on a dried food called CSJ Specialist Canine Feeds. They're on Command Performance. They've been on it for all their lives, so it's not that and it's one with good ingredients apart from the maise that's in it.:)

Wow! @BigC That's a memorable weather moment for Ireland!:cool::LOL::LOL:

We are grey, cold and it actually rained a bit, but not enough to leave an impression. Snails were out in force for the one Salvia for which I hadn't put a few slug guards. The hot weather and the cold just have brought them out en masse. Water the hot border stuff and hopefully take some cuttings. Still looking for car insurance. Oh, my gawd! Legalised robbery ...

BIgC I have never heard of dogs being diagnosed by the erection or not of their tails! I nearly spewed out my tea!:LOL::LOL:!

Be careful that you don't choke.
When we had our first dog, when he was about 4, his tail was down and he didn't look happy. We took him to the vet and he said it was his anal glands and they had to be emptied. Which he did and he had to be mussled we didn't know how he would reacted. But what a stench, it was in my nostrils for ages. He was alright after that. The vet said that his diet needed more fibre.

Thank heavens I have no tea in my mouth. I have tidied up the kitchen and the lean-to. Now I need to tidy them up even further and need to hunt for insurance.

Just got rid of part of the tree stump. Couldn't find my fork this morning. Need to lock everything from now on. Thank heavens that I had bought a £2 and kept in at the far end corner of the garage. Planted out some potatoes and more area to dig. Now I just need to cool off. I was sweating like a pig.

Hahaha you are being educated in some back door canine diagnostics @alp whilst you make your spewn tea an art form
Strawberries starting to turn red in the greenhouse, whilst the external ones lag behind which is good because we can enjoy the greenhouse variety and have the outside variety a little later..win win...
Damn blackbirds are in my borders every morning and evening I have to return the soil they have messed up.
Home from Dublin been an extremely long and tiring day I had planned to do a little more work in the garden, I got the grass mow'd and that was about all I could muster....Cornflower and Aster seeds have germinated I'm pleased with that..Nasturtiums, Hollyhocks, Aquilegia and Lupins still to show their faces:)

As for the Wisteria, it was an ebay purchase and I originally wanted it to grow over the pergola around the pond which is where I kept it last year, its semi shaded so it didnt do much or grew much either...I have moved it into full sun well

In the wild wisteria grow in forest so originally are in shade but won't flower well / not at all, so they can grow in shade. They get to the sunlight after they climbed the tree.

@alp did you say you grow a wisteria from seed ? they can take 20 years to flower from seed , that why usually names variety are all grafted.

@Perki Yes, I did. I bought about 3 to 5 lots of seeds and now I have managed to kill most of them by not taking them back into the lean to during winter. I have the feeling that the one I bought from Asda was one grown from seed. It has climbed up to 10 feet, but hey, no flowers. Tons of tendrils. When my Homebase one has finished flowering, I will layer it to increase my stock.

@BigC You have had a long day. Now, I might take my strawberries indoors. It's soooooo cold outside. I put a shower curtain over my newly planted out lettuce. I hope they are Romaine. I might use another fabric planter and grow more vegs.

@Perki Do you know how I can grow some Pak choi looking like those from the supermarket please? I had one helping where the stems were think and white and yet the plants had decided to form flowers ie. going to seed. What can I do to bulk salad leaves or pak choi up please!?

Hi, a few pics taken yesterday, colour is gradually emerging. Busy getting the borders prepared for the summer bedding, and keeping up with pinching out and watering all the plants grown from seed.
