Yes, going to be a cold night. Last night fleece out. Today, very cold, but the sunshine made up for it. I blamed @Verdun for letting me know the name Deacons and I spent a fortune buying up

1) Gala apple
2 Black Hamburg grape
3) Nectarine twin tree
4) Nectarine/apricot twin tree
5) Katy apple

It's the postage that is killing me £15 The plants are most about £10 .. Fasting continues ..

You mean spending my money. The website of this nursery drove me mad. I couldn't key in any word to search, but had go to the category eg Apple, Grapes .. Once I click grapes, they opened a page on Indoor grapes, Outdoor grapes.. What did I know about indoor or outdoor grapes?? Then it gave me Apple rootstock types.. Quickly, I had to learn M26 is bigger than M27 which is extreme dwarfing .. Then there is pixie:eek:? LOL! And then there is St Julien :eek:. Er, what's that? Some other nurseries had ballerina :eek:. I wonder which is the smallest!

I was totally out of my depth.. All I want a website to do is when I key in Gala apple, it takes me there - GALA APPLE! No, the trauma of going round and round and round .. drove me mad. Most of the names I have never heard of. So I had to quickly google nectarine or apricot and search for the word sweet on the whole page and see if the sweet variety existed on Deacons nursery page .. Meanwhile, my son was urging me to go out.. 10.15am, we went out .. bought nothing.

The £4.99 vitamins (180 tablets ) said to be from Seven Seas in Home Bargains looked like some bootsale rejects .:eek::eek: ..

Morning @Zenj not going to do much today, have a lazy day.:)
Ive had a very lazy day,but when I was waiting of the kettle to boil I was looking out of the kitchen window and saw a hawk take a starling and went skywards with it,than a jackdaw flew directly at the hawk and the hawk realised the starling which flew off the hawk vanished and within seconds all the house roofs had a single jackdaw on them making a huge racket obviously protecting there territory but what an amazing thing to see.

Amazing sight, @Zenj . I only have old photos to whet my appetite.. Don't think we can see a hawk in south England.

Yes. Guess what, Logan? I keyed in M26 and M27 and saw that M27 can grow to 6 feet which is more than what I can. So I will phone them tomorrow to see if they can swap one for me.
