Shape, I'm not sure how you'd go about doing marble on a small scale. Basically for that, I use an assortment of sponges and sponge rollers, overlaying different shades of whatever color I'm using, then paint in veins and texture with artist brushes and feathers, again using several colors so they look complex.

Tons of techniques on YouTube, I'd suggest checking that out.

Ok now time to start on a real water feature..This one has inspired me but i have a more grander design in mind..Im not going to use a traditional pump in the fountain..It will be a air water pump..

I seem to have missed your updates between Christmas and New Year - it's all looking great! Good work with the interior walls. What are they made from?
