I am growing a bean, and my friend said to me that I should cut the flowers of because "I need the plant to use his energy on growing and not on developing flowers, because now it's too little to have flowers and that if I won't cut them the plant will die". He also added that this is basic knowledge.
Should I listen to him?

You mean bush beans or pole beans?
I have no idea, I just planted a bean from the supermarket and hoped for the best.
Do you think I should cut the flowers?

I think those are pole beans. And NO! DO NOT remove the flowers. It is getting late in the year for bean production due to shorter days and less sunlight so don't expect good production, but removing flowers from beans is idiotic at best
