Trying to identify this pest and if anyone knows, is there an organic solution for treatment?

They look like a bunch of little white specks - I just noticed them today all over the surface of the coconut coir and also on the stems of the parsley.

This parsley plant under attack here is being grown hydroponically indoors in a coconut coir medium.

At the same time, I noticed a sort of white film on the surface of some of my other plants where I am using a coconut coir medium. I looked closely and it does not seem to be a pest - could it be mold growing, and if so, any suggestions? Right now I do run a fan in the grow area a couple of hours each day to get the air moving.

Thanks for your help.

It looks like wooly aphids. You could use insecticidal soap or neem oil.
