Hello there, I signed up to this forum just so that I could ask this question!
I've never grown an apple tree before, but I cut open an apple in May only to discover that one of the seeds had begun sprouting! I thought it was a perfect opportunity to attempt. The tree has started growing, and it looks fairly healthy. I'm growing it indoors, and as of right now, I'm thinking it will be too small to plant outdoors before winter hits. I live in Canada and our winters would decimate this little guy.
If I keep him indoors over winter, will I need to make any specific adjustments? Should I store him in a cooler area of the house, or give him less light?
