I read a random google article promoting a story about a tropical tomato greenhouse operation that changed its screens and benefitted with reduced virosis from whitefly.
I was curious as to the size necessary for such black magicry so I looked it up, and .40mm by .45mm was the size stated. The company mentioned in the article had named their product by that size. Econet 4045 screens. They have an excluded insect list: Whitefly (silverleaf, greenhouse, sweet potato), Melon aphid ,Green peach aphid, serpentine leafminer, bumble bee, citrus leafminer.
I do not usually see screen by insect discussions and thought the idea might be useful to someone here.
