Camillia growing strange leaves

Hello

My Camillia has been growing strange leaves. Basically all of the leaves are now growing like this and they are very fragile. They break and tear with touching.

Looking at the photos, especially the last one, a possibility might be drift/drip from some kind of spray and/or herbicide.

I did spray a herbicide, a lawn safe broad leaf herbicide. I thought it would be safe for mature trees and shrubs. Hopefully I didn't cause a disaster.
