Best spacing for tomato plants?

I have a 4x4 round garden bag bed that's 12 inches deep. I'm wondering how many tomato plants I can put in it. What is the best spacing for these plants?

Spacing will be based on the variety and type. Indeterminate grows like a vine, 24 inches. Those can be spaced close but require a lot of vertical growth. Determinates grow more like a bush and require more spacing, 36 inches minimum.
