Hi. When I was in festival of carnivorous plants in Poland I bought two sarracenias. I think that they are two different kinds because on of them is more slim and higher. Do you know what kind am I talking about? I hope so, because I am begginer in this subject. I am worrying because this slimmer and higher one is like..withering? On the top of it some sprouts are dry and they lost their green colour to brown. Do you know what is it? Is it normal?

It would be best to post a picture of your Pitcher-plant (Sarracenia sp. or hybrid) showing the area of concern.

The pitchers on Sarracenia are modified leaves that have evolved to become insect traps. Like all leaves, they will eventually wither and be replaced by newer growth.
