I learn a lot over the Internet and some I'm scratching my head.

I was just reading too much organic matter will bring Worm Castings which are bad. ????

I'm planning on putting organic matter on my Lawn to break up my hard clay.

Unless they are talking about serious buildup.

I use to mow Lawns and had one woman needed her grass mowed twice a week. It was like walking on a sponge at times. Had to use Grass Catcher on it.

I have never heard of worm castings being bad. I used them in my garden all the time. Worms in general aerate the soil. I have heavy clay soil and around my trees I have started what is called priming which is layered materials in order to help the fruit trees, build new soil and to help the trees fight aphids etc. Worm castings is the base of my priming technique.
