Will my strawberries regrow?

So my son wanted to help me with pruning our garden and I taught him how to trip off the yellowed leaves on our new strawberry plants. He was doing fine but while I had my back turned he snipped one of them completely taking all the shoots(?) Of the plant off just above the soil. So I'm wondering Will the plant regenerate new leaves? or is it a lost hope? Maybe this is a stupid question..but I'm very new at gardening lol

If enough of the crown is there, you'll be fine.
My mate takes a lawnmower to his strawberry patch every spring.
