White spot on grass leaf?

I sow grass seeds in a pot, that was growing healthy few days back some white spot appeared.
What is that stuff on the grass leaf?

small pot, sandy soil kept it near to water tap.

First, was planning to transplant it to make my garden bit more green, then dropped the idea (now want a moss garden), still planning to put them in tyre pots like the pic below

found a jar of epsom salt (MgSO4), 5mg :1/4 gallon water should be effective, or is it overdose for grass?
