white cucumber

Hello folks! Am I a freak if I plan everything for the next year? I always make a list of what seeds to buy and when should I sow them. In the Internet I found an unusual variety of cucumbers and I decided that maybe it will be good to ask you if they are worth growing. This is a white cucumber ( like this one: https://gardenseedsmarket.com/white-cucumber-white-wonder.html ) . It looks cool but what about the fruits? Are they tasty? Whatever you say I will probably try it but I want to know your opinions

The ones I tried still tasted like cucumbers, but the skin was prone to blotches and the insects loved them. I would rather grow the thin- skinned varieties.
