Here's a house plant that I have. I can guess what it is, but I'm not certain. Does anyone know?

Yes, it has that common name because of the palmate leaves which resemble (so they say) an outstretched hand which catches all of the money.

Yes it does, and many Euphorbias can be mistaken for members of the Cactus family. Your Rhipsalis is a member of that Cactus family, and will show areoles as all cactus do. If the OP`s plant is a Rhipsalis it too will have areoles ..........

.....if not it will more likely be a Euphorbia.

The branching pattern and stem colour of the plant shown in the OP looks very much like Euphorbia mauritanica, though I would like to see the plant's flowers and cyathia (specialized inflorescences) for a more definite identification.
