What type of plant is this? Tall Texas thing

Hello,
I just moved from Houston to Nevada, and when I left I pulled a few little shoots from these plants that grew naturally. I put them in a pot and wow they grew big FAST. I think these are beautiful plants, and they are about 5 feet tall. They send up more little shoots around the original plant and appear to spread in a way. They turn purple in the mid summer direct light. The ones in the pot I had inside my house so they are quite green.

I am wondering if anyone could identify them and help me know what they are?

They are Crinum lilies. They have pinkish flowers in the summer.
