I bought her from Lowes a few months ago, and she was labeled “Exotic Angel Plants” from Costa Farms, which is general for all of their plants. She was on her last leg about to die when I got her, so I’ve been working with her for some months. Now she’s flowering in the winter! However I can’t figure out what she really is? Her leaves are more serrated and she doesn’t have “fuzz” like a purple passion plant. She also has little pinkish white flowers, they look similar to the flowers that my nerve plant produces. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance!

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

This is Pilea hitchcockii 'Dark Mystery' in the Nettle Family (Urticaceae). It is a cultivar of a species native to Colombia and Ecuador.

Ahhh thank you! I’ve been creating a “Plant facts“ folder to better understand my various plants but the lack of knowing that one was frustrating. I see there isn’t an abundance of information and research done on “Dark Mystery” either so it’ll be interesting learning her . Thanks again!
